The Party Snack Hero

Holiday party season is about to go into full swing, and November 2 is “National Deviled Egg Day,” so it seems the perfect time to delve into the rich and delectable history of these creamy, indulgent heroes making a triumphant appearance at parties and family gatherings throughout the years. It’s always a bit of a comfort seeing deviled eggs appear on a buffet table, and it’s tough to resist the devilish temptation to eat just one.

As it is often said, “The Devil is in the details.” There is much more to the Deviled Egg history than just a sprinkle of paprika.
