Last week, I shared an excerpt with you from a murder mystery series that I’ve been reading. And this week, I want to share the recipe that the excerpt inspired.
You may remember as Claire, one of the supporting characters in A Rule Against Murder by Louise Penny, offered her mother-in-law a favorite lunch food, Mrs. Morrow not only declined the offer, she intentionally called Claire, Clara.
I shared my thoughts on what I felt this act demonstrated regarding the relationship between the two women as well as why I felt that the plate signified care and intention.
